Congratulations! You’ve found the perfect lot in your new neighbourhood and a home design that’s ideal for your family.

Step 2: Floor plan options and exterior preferences
Now’s the time to start personalizing your home. Your community sales team will provide you with the options for structural layout changes and exterior finishes for your home.

Step 3: meet your caivan associate
Your Caivan Associate is your one point of contact for all things Caivan. You’ll get to know each other well, from your first Design Studio appointment through to your move-in day.

Step 4: Determine construction details and features
At this virtual appointment, your Associate will help you choose items such as:

Step 5: Customize mechanical and electrical
At your second virtual appointment, you will cover details such as:

Step 6: Select colors and finishes
This in-person meeting takes place in the Design Studio, where you’ll work with your Caivan Associate to add the personalized touches to your home.

Step
Step 7: Pre-drywall presentation
This is your mid-construction peak at your new home. Your Associate will share a walk-through photo presentation of the progress. This takes place after your home is framed, the roof is on, and the insulation is installed.

Step 8: pre-delivery inspection
See your home for the first time at this in-person visit with your Service Manager. At this exciting walk-through appointment, you’ll get acquainted with all the features and functions in your new home.

Move in to your beautiful new home and start enjoying life in your new community!

You’ll need to provide your first deposit, a copy of your identification, and your contact details including phone and email.

Review the site plan and let us know your first, second, and third choices. Be sure to register with us to be the first to know about new releases and community launches.

Once you have signed a contract with Caivan, there is a conditional period during which you can review and make changes to the agreement. Although it is not required, we recommend you review your contract with a lawyer.

When we sign the contract together, we estimate the closing date for your new home. This date may need to shift due to unforeseen circumstances, and we will keep you informed if this is the case with your new home.

Yes. There is a conditional period during which you can make changes. Once the period is over, no changes can be made.

Your new home price includes dozens of features and finishes. Please refer to Schedule C in your agreement for a detailed list. Upgrades are priced separately.

Your designated Caivan Associate can provide you with detailed pricing for upgrades during the design selection process.

Your new home includes a rental hot water system. You may choose to purchase the system outright after your closing date.

Our team has designed a wide variety of choices for each model of home. The sales team will contact you shortly after your contract is signed to review the options with you.

Each model has several exterior design package options; some of them include brick or stone finishes. Your sales associate can confirm if this is an option for your home.

Design Studio appointments are typically booked a few months before construction begins.

Although it’s not required, we recommend that you review the details of your contract with a lawyer during the conditional period of the agreement.
